The Oberon String Quartet is delighted to have played for a number of civil partnership ceremonies.
Each ceremony has followed a completely individual pattern and music has played an important and special part of each day.
The level of formality (for example walking down the aisle together or not) can be varied according to the ideas of each couple. We are happy to adapt our participation, points of performance and choice of music in the ceremony to your wishes.
“Just a quick note to say thank you so much for everything
on Friday afternoon - so many people came to me and told me how
much they enjoyed your performance, and I know Malcolm & I certainly
did. The idea of playing Mazel Tov Simel Tov for our entry was a
really good one... thanks so much. Everyone raved about you, in
fact someone described you to us as "the cherry on the top
of the cake!!" Please pass on our thanks to your colleagues
and say hi to Rob. Hope you continue to have a good year, and thanks
once again for the part you played in making our day so special.

“Can we express what a delight and pleasure it was to
have you play at our ceremony…..also, a most heartfelt thank
you for the rendition of ‘promise’…..That piece
has fond memories for us not only of our Civil Partnership now,
but of magical times spent in America. Oberon Quartet helped to
re-create that magic….our thanks to you all.”

“Just to say a huge thank you to you all for the wonderful music you played for us at our wedding last Saturday....Your playing added a touch of class to the proceedings and I just hope our singing did justice to the hymns you played....Very best wishes,
and be assured of our recommendation to anyone who may require the services of a quartet in future."
